Fresh Salad Leaves

I stumbled over these Herefordshire based growers, Richard and Mandy Sidgwick. I received the first delivery at the Albright Hussey Manor Hotel today and have to write immediately about these salad leaves, they are simply to die for, the taste of each leaf is just so pure, holds its own characteristic of strength and cleanliness that eating salad has a new meaning, earning its right to be a starter or main course, with some freshly baked crusty bread, some different non scented oils, balsamic, marldon seasalt flakes....

Away with the horrible tasteless manky bruised mixed leaves from wholesalers and/or supermarkets, you know the ones...last for 1 hour after opening.....simply throwing away monies never mind how much cheaper they might be.....

A few years ago I met a grower near Market Drayton, who had similar salad leaves and many times I had breakfast with the grower eating leaves as we were going along the many veracities, Unfortunately he stopped trading, but I am glad to have found this producer via twitter. Richard and Mandy, I will have to come and have breakfast at yours soon and see what other produce you can spoil me with.
