Demo morning in St Mary's Church

A great weekend in Shrewsbury's St Mary's Church at the Shrewsbury Chocolate Festival, I was invited by Julia Poppete Viani to do a demo on Chocolate, I pondered a bit and gone back to a classic one, Loin of Venison, pigeon breast with a cherry chocolate Sauce, Pontac and purple potatoes from no other then Gerrol Jalving, my potato king, This was my first ever cooking in a Church and I must say it was blessed. The Church was packed and the sitting crowd was amazing, Judith with her Microphone and Digger, my assistant from the Albright Hussey played a great role to make my hour slot a great success. With 1 induction plate I managed the dish and I must say all came nicely together, after completion of the dish, a fair few people came over to have their 'lunch' and agreed that yes, chocolate used on a savoury dish is something they will take home and try.
